The inaugural PhD Symposium will be held during Semester 2 Week 7 onÌýThursday, 13^thÌýAugust 2020Ìýat the Saigon South Campus. The Symposium aims at creating a nurturing environment for HDR candidates to present their work, exchange ideas and receive feedback from fellow candidates and senior academics. In addition, this event will strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration and research culture throughout RMIT Vietnam.

The symposium is compulsory for all HDR candidates of RMIT Vietnam, withÌýan exception of those who are on leave of absence. RMIT Vietnam academics currently pursuing a doctoral degree are also encouraged to present your work at the symposium.

Note: We will facilitate live streaming for participants based in Hanoi campus if they are unable to join in person.

1. An abstract (max 300 words)
2. A summary of papers (max 5 pages)
3. PowerPoint slides capped atÌý12 slides

A 10 minute presentation followed by a 10-minute Q&A.
